Coffee Workshop: Coffee Cupping

Each month we choose coffees to feature with a complimentary brewing method. We guide participants through the tasting and share details about where coffee comes from and why we love it. We’ve been hosting these tastings for over a year, and we hope you’ll join us now!
This tasting is all about coffee cupping. This tasting technique is how coffee is tasted by producers and buyers around the world to check the quality of a batch of coffee. In cupping, coffees are scored for aspects such as cleanliness, sweetness, acidity, mouthfeel and aftertaste. It’s quite hands on. We’ll be cupping a fruity light roast coffee blend with notes of blueberry, lemon, and chocolate, as well as a caramelly medium roast coffee with notes of chocolate, vanilla, and brown sugar.
